The Effect of self-differentiation of University Students on Carer Attitude Maturity - The moderating Effect of Grit

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between university students¡¯ self-differentiation, career attitude maturity, and grit, and to verify whether the level of self-differentiation of university students has a moderating effect on career attitude maturity. Self-differentiation, career attitude maturity, and grit scale tests were conducted on 325 university students enrolled in a four-year university located in Korea, and finally 323 data were analyzed. From this survey, we tested the degree of identity differentiation, career maturity, and grit, coming up with an evaluation of 323 of the students who took the survey. The data that was collected utilized SPSS 25.0 to see how a correlation analysis, simple regression analysis, hierarchical regression analysis. The results of the study is as follows. First, There was a statistically significant positive correlation between self-differentiation, career attitude maturity, and grit variables. Second, the level of self-differentiation of university students had a positive effect on career attitude maturity. Third, as a result of examining the moderating effect of grit on career attitude maturity of university students, grit was found to have a moderating effect. From this research, the fact that university students¡¯ self-differentiation has a big impact on carer attitude maturity was proven, in addition, we were able to see the importance of grit in improving carer attitude maturity. This data will have a big significance in career counseling as a database as well as way to get involved in improving carer attitude maturity.
